Definitie
Spinocerebellaire ataxie type 23 (SCA23) is een zeer zeldzaam subtype van type I autosomaal dominante cerebellaire ataxie (ADCA type I; zie deze term). Het is gekenmerkt door gangataxie, dysartrie, tragere saccades, oculaire dysmetrie, Babinskireflex en hyperreflexie.
