Die Idiopathische akute eosinophile Pneumonie (IAEP) ist eine eosinophile Pneumonie mit unbekannter Ursache. Charakteristisch sind: Akute febrile hypoxische Atemstörung, diffuse Infiltrate im Röntgenbild, pulmonale Eosinophilie, keine gleichzeitige Allergie oder Infektion.
