Definitie
Spinocerebellaire ataxie type 25 (SCA25) is een zeer zeldzaam subtype van type I autosomaal dominante cerebellaire ataxie (ADCA type I; zie deze term). Het is gekenmerkt door cerebellaire ataxie en opvallende sensorische neuropathie.
